The Idealstor Backup Appliance is an all in one backup system designed for fast, reliable and secure backups. The Idealstor Backup Appliance is a complete backup system that offers up to 32TB of removable disk capacity and ships bundled with Windows Server 2008.

The Idealstor Backup Appliance has been on the market since 2003 and while the technology and disk media used in the system has changed dramatically, the overall goal of the system has remained the same. This system takes the place of a dedicated backup server and tape drive/library allowing you to consolidate hardware while backing up to fast, reliable and portable removable disk media. Each 4U system ships with Windows Server 2008 and is designed to function as a backup server and target for your backups. Simultaneous backups can be run to each bay giving you the speed and flexibility you’d expect from a critical backup system.

This system is available in 2, 4, 6 and 8 Bay configurations and is designed to work with any capacity SATA disk on the market. While the system is Backup Software agnostic and works with 3rd party backup software like Backup Exec, Arcserve etc. we can provide the award winning Drive Backup Server software from Paragon Software to make it truly “an all in one” backup and disaster recovery system".
